About Southwest Maker Fest

Southwest Maker Fest  (SWMF) is a collaborative regional festival and community of makers seeking to achieve the vision of a connected community, empowered by creativity. The SWMF mission is to celebrate, engage, and inspire the maker in each of us.

Immerse yourself in creative experiences!

SWMF is a place where you can:

  • enjoy a free outdoor event in downtown Mesa
  • see ideas brought to life
  • participate in hands-on activities…everywhere!
  • join in community projects
  • mingle with local makers
  • explore the i.d.e.a. Museum, open FREE throughout SWMF!

We invite you to share and learn with Arizona’s community of inspiring makers – all ages of scientists, artists, teachers, inventors, engineers and more!
